okies guys,
this is the first time i've been (though i have been to serveral animania) and all i have to say is... i AM DEFINETELY going again.
This was also the first time i've cosplayed (something i'm definetely doing AGAIN).
As u will probably see in my deviantions (or already know of i real life ^^ ) this time i cosplayed Konata Izumi (from lucky star) and yes, my cosplay was 100% hand made =.= (i finished sewing it at 4:30am in the morning/adjustments 30minutes before i went on the day of the convention even though i started sewing in the Christmas Holidays XD )



So, to anyone else whose never been i totally recomend it! ~it's so freakin epic i went into fangirl spasms when i saw the size~ XD

and an AWESOME, BLACK, FRILLY, COTTON, LACE, LAYERED, WITH BRACERS, AND CHAINS, AND PINS, AND DEAD SKELETON KITTIES WITH LIL HEARTS skirt! OMG! i LOVE it, and i eva got the card from the guy so i can find their store (well theyb don't actually have a store.. they more round shopping centers/ conventions etc) but it has a no. i can call to find where they appearinng! *squee*
omg this shop has EVERY THING

WELL.... alot has happened since 2008!
-i went to Canberra + Sydney over christmas
-started grade 10... waw.
-got new laptop with school ^^ etc

anyways... my new years resolution was to stop procrastinatng with assignments at school ^^

~yesterday i went with some friends from school to a cosplay/anime picnic at the botanicle(?) gardens ~

which reminds me.. this year to super nova i AM going as KONATA [no procrastinating this time ]
i have the wig, have just finished the skirt and am starting on the top now ^^
(yes i'm hand sewing it... is fun... i'm cutting up my daddys old business shirts )



mum + dad bought me a awesome bookcase for my manga, plus i have put a big lucky star poster abover it so it's lookin awesome ^^
and as for my manga.. it's got to the 80 limit! umm... i'm not gonna list it here cus i'm gonna put up a photo of it soon ^^


on another not i've been vocusing a bit more on my LOVE of lolita and have finally dragged my ass round to searching for an english version of "Gothic and Lolita Bible" ! ~which i found at Ace Comics~

kevin got a shit re-port card. right?


in fact, if he fails even 1 subject next term he won't finish yr 12





AND, because of this dad's made some new study rules

so, even if i have gotten a good report card and have my own study ways that work fine for me, i'm gonna have to do the same as Kevin.


why?
because other wise it'll be a "temptation" if i'm on the computer when he's not.


so, from when school starts back we won't be able to get on the computers after tea
( dinners usually at 6-6:30 )
meaning, i'll only get 2- 2.5 hours a day on the computer.
and if i do anything between 4-6 not on the computer, that's just taken off my computer time, cus i'm not allowed to make it up later on.



OH OH OH!
and then get this.. i'll have to study for the same amount of time as Kevin does.
He's in grade 11. I'm in grade 9.
i shouldn't have to do anywhere NEAR the same amount of work.


AND THEN,
if i finish all my study, all my assignments, all my music h/w, and all my homework that night and have proof i can get back on that night.
but if i have none of that and hadn't done any of that that night i can't get one.
cus it's only after i've done some.
even if i have none to do.

AND when i ask them about that.
they just tell me to shut up and do as i'm told.
